The program for foreigners to Novosibirsk and Tomsk (3 days/2 nights)
The 1st day. Novosibirsk. Reception. Accommodation at the hotel. Breakfast. City sightseeing tour at the bus. Excursion to The Museum of the birch. Going to Akademgorodok, which is situated in the pine forest (26 km from center of Novosibirsk). Visiting The Museum of the Institute of Geology and Mineralogy SB RAS (Siberian Branch of Russian Academy of Sciences), where you can see the rich and exciting collection of minerals, precious and semiprecious stones, including "charoite", the rarest precious stone in the world. Moreover there are impressive collections of gold and fragments of 34 meteorites which total weight is 129 kg. Guides are professional geologists speaking foreign languages. Lunch. Excursion to The Museum of rail transport or to the Zoo (in accordance with your desire). Returning to the hotel. Free time. Dinner.
The 2nd day. Breakfast. Travel to Tomsk (The distance is 236 km, the shortest trip: Novosibirsk-Bolotnoe (130 km) – Proskokovo (29 km) – Tomsk (77 km). Accommodation at the hotel. City sightseeing tour with include the memorials of wooden architecture (A. D. Kriachkov’s mansion, “The house with dragons” Bogoiavlensky cathedral, Bogorodice-Alekseevsky’s monastery). Lunch. Visit The Museum of Tomsk’s history. The museum’s exposition will tell you about the city’s history in XVII – XIX centurys; about building of Tomsk’s town. Returning to the hotel. Free time. Dinner.
The 3d day. Breakfast. Excursion “Timiryazevo’s fairytales”. Timiryazevo is the unique place, there were the stand of first Tomsk tatars, Nestoyanovo lake. Visiting The Frost’s museum. Lunch. Leaving hotel. Free time. Returning to the Novosibirsk. Dinner.
